Instructor - Bruce Olson

Bruce Olson - a PGA Member, brings to the school many years of teaching experience, he began his teaching career in 1990. In addition to being the lead instructor at the Mark Steinbauer Golf Training Center, Bruce has been on staff at both the renowned Kathy Whitworth Golf Academy and Columbia Lakes School of Golf.

He was a 2000 nominee for both the Southern Texas PGA Teacher of The Year and the Eastern Chapter Harvey Penick Teacher of the Year. Bruce's simple, yet very direct teaching style brings out the best in his students. Bruce has published articles in both local and national publications, including Golf Digest.

Bruce has worked closely with PGA Tour Professional, Joel Edwards. Joel credited Bruce for much of his success in 2000, including a third place finish at The Shell Houston Open. Joel followed that with two more top-twenty finishes in his next three starts, putting together the best year of his career.
